Recipe - Asparagus Cheese Soup

One fourth cup Butter
One fourth cup Flour
1 tablespoon Salt
1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon Pepper
6 cup Milk
2 pack (10 oz.) frozen asparagus
cooked; ch
3 cup Shredded Cheddar cheese

Melt butter; blend in flour and seasonings. Remove from heat and stir in
milk. Return to heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.

Add asparagus and cooking water; heat to simmering. Remove from heat and
stir in cheese until melted. Garnish with paprika, if desired.
