Recipe - Asiago Cheese Sticks

2 cup Cake flour
1 1/3 cup Semolina flour
2 tablespoon Baking powder
One half cup Plus 2 Tbs. unsalted butter;
softened
One fourth cup Plus 1 Tbs. sugar
4 lg Eggs
1 lg Egg yolk
Three fourths cup Milk
One half cup Buttermilk
Three fourths cup Asiago cheese; grated
Prep: 15 min, Cook: 15 min.
Preheat oven to 350øF. Combine first 3 ingredients in a bowl. Stir to mix
well and set aside. Cream butter and sugar in a mixing bowl, until smooth
and light. Add eggs and egg yolk, one at a time, beating and scraping the
bowl constantly until smooth. Stir in reserved dry ingredients until
incorporated. Add milk and buttermilk and mix to form a smooth batter. Fold
in Asiago. Pour batter into greased cornstick molds (or prepared cake pan)
and bake 1520 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove
from heat and let cool briefly before turning out of pans and serving.
