Recipe - Apple Dilly Cake

One half cup Butter
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg; well beaten
1 One half cup Sifted flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1 cup Walnuts; chopped
1 cup Raisins
One fourth teaspoon Cloves
One half teaspoon Allspice
One fourth teaspoon Nutmeg
One half cup Cold Coffee
1 cup Apple; coarsely chopped
Cream butter and sugar; add egg. Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately with
liquid. Stir in apples, nuts and raisins. Turn in well greased and floured
11 x 7 One half inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 35 minutes. Cool thoroughly
in pan. Keeps well and improves.
