Recipe - Apple Crunch Coffee Cake

2 cup Bisquick
2/3 cup Milk
3 tablespoon Sugar
1 Egg
2 cup Apples; thinly cut or sliced up &
pared
2 tablespoon Nuts; chopped
topping
2/3 cup Bisquick
2/3 cup Brown sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
One half teaspoon Nutmeg
One fourth cup Margarine
glaze
One half cup Powdered sugar
2 tablespoon Milk; to 3 Tbs milk
Heat oven to 400. Grease 9 x 9 square pan. Mix baking mix, milk, sugar and
egg; beat vigorously 30 seconds. Spread half of the batter in pan. Arrange
apple slices on batter; sprinkle with half of the topping. Spread remaining
batter over apple slices; sprinkle with remaining topping. Sprinkle with
nuts. Bake about 25 minutes, cool. Drizzle with glaze. Topping: Combine dry
ingredients, then cut in margarine.
