Recipe - Apple Cranberry Crisp

FILLING
1 One half pound Golden Delicious apples,
(about 4 medium size),
Peeled, cored
And cut in bitesize
Chunks (5 cups)
2 cup Fresh or frozen cranberries
1/3 cup Granulated sugar
TOPPING
1 cup Allpurpose flour
Three fourths cup Granulated sugar
1 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
One fourth teaspoon Salt
One half cup Butter or margarine, cut in
8 pieces
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a shallow 2 quart baking dish.
2. Topping: Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt in mediumsize bowl. Cut in
butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse
crumbs.
3. Filling: Put apples, cranberries and sugar into prepared dish. Toss
gently to mix.
4. Sprinkle with topping. Pat lightly with fingertips.
5. Bake about 1 hour or until top is golden and filling bubbles.
