Recipe - Apple Brown Betty With Hard Sauce

6 sl Cinnamon raisin bread
6 Apples; 1/2" dice (6 to 8)
6 Eggs
4 cup Milk
One half cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
One fourth cup Molasses
1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
HARD SAUCE
4 ounce Butter; melted
4 ounce Powdered sugar
4 ounce Moonshine; (or Bourbon)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cube raisin bread, and mix with apples. Spread
evenly in a 9 x 9inch baking dish. In a bowl mix eggs with milk, sugar,
cinnamon, molasses, and vanilla to combine well. Pour over the bread and
apples. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes until set. Remove and let cool. Combine
all hard sauce ingredients and mix well. Serve w. the Betty.
