Recipe - Apple-Pecan Stuffing

Butter or margarine
2/3 cup Diced onion
2/3 cup Diced celery
3 cup Diced dayold bread
3 cup Diced apples
1 teaspoon Salt
One half teaspoon Black pepper
1/8 teaspoon Ground sage
1/8 teaspoon Ground marjoram
1/8 teaspoon Ground thyme
One half teaspoon Dried parsley flakes
One half cup Chopped pecans
One half cup Water
Melt One fourth cup butter in skillet. Add onion and celery and cook until tender.
Add to bread. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in skillet. Stir in apples. Cook
until golden. Add apples to bread mixture. Mix in salt, pepper, sage,
marjoram, thyme, parsley and pecans. Add water and mix thoroughly. Makes
enough for 10pound turkey
