Ingredients:
Acadian Coush-Coush recipe makes 2 Servings
2 cup Cornmeal
1 One half teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 One half cup Milk or water
One half cup Cooking oil or bacon grease
Mix thoroughly cornmeal, salt, baking powder and milk. Put oil or grease
in a skillet; heat. Let crust form. Give a good stir and lower heat to
simmer. Cover. Cook 15 minutes. Serve with milk and sugar or with syrup.
